A plain guide to receiving the text code for a Paysafecard account.
Paysafecard is a prepaid payment voucher. You buy a code at a shop or online and use it to pay without a bank card. If you open a personal account on their site, they may ask you to confirm a mobile number by text.
This page is about the text code only. SMS Activate rents you a number so you can receive that code. We do not sell vouchers, handle your payments on their service, or give advice about your funds. Your wallet here is charged for the number, and an activation that never receives an SMS is refunded.

When a text code shows up
A payment service takes identity seriously, so a text code can appear at sign-up, when you add or change details, or when you log in from somewhere new. The code proves that whoever is signing in can read texts on that number.
That has a practical effect. If you use a rented number for an account that holds anything of value, you must be able to recover it later. A rented number is gone after the activation, so only use this for an account where you also have a recovery email and know how their support verifies you.
Read this before you buy
Payment accounts are stricter than social apps. Many of them check that the phone number is a normal mobile line, and some compare the number's country with your own details. If those do not match, they may ask for extra checks or refuse the number.
Be honest with the service about who you are. Use your real name and details on the account. A rented number does not change what the service may ask you to prove.
Price and timing
Numbers for this service usually cost a few cents to under a dollar, depending on country and stock. The code normally arrives within about a minute after you ask for it. If it has not arrived after a few minutes, do not request many more codes in a row.
Your wallet is charged when you place the order. If no SMS comes within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your wallet. You can see the exact rules for your order type in the dashboard.
If the number is refused
Cancel the order once the first two minutes have passed, as the cancellation rules in the dashboard allow, and try a different country. Do not keep retrying the same number on the same account, because repeated failed attempts can lock it.
If you keep running into refusals, contact the service's support first. We can only tell you whether our side delivered an SMS.
