Temu is a large online shop, and it offers phone-number sign-up and login. After you enter a number, it texts a code. Like many shops, it also uses the number for order updates and offers.

Use a strong password, check the return policy before you pay, and do not pay outside the app. Be careful with messages that claim to be from Temu and ask you for a code. Temu will not need you to read a login code out to anyone.

Possible refusals
Shopping sites can refuse numbers they have seen too often. If Temu says the number is not accepted, cancel after two minutes and try another country or number.
